(Botrytis cinera, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum): cottony,
white fungal growth on surface of water-soaked root lesions in the field or
more commonly in storage. Hard, black sclerotia form on disease tissue. Other
controls include crop rotation and recommended storage conditions.
